BUDAPEST is a beautiful city. It was my first visit there! The concert in honor of Gary Moore was a very joyful experience for all of us, this is why we will meet up again to honor Gary at the Grolsch Blues Festival on May 26. For those of you who would like to see Gary’s Blues line-up in action, it at least won’t be that long of a drive to Schoeppingen. ;)

On April 4, 2012 will be Gary Moore’s 60th birthday anniversary. The first show of a planned series of memorial concerts will take place in Budapest this year.

Relatives, close friends, Gary’s own band, numerous international musicians, and of course, lots of his loyal fans will celebrate this event the way it is proper for the ‘Lord of the Strings’. I will also be part of this occasion and I’m very grateful for the invitation. It is a great honor and a huge emotional challenge at the same time.

Dear Blues-Lovers,
Many thanks for your inquiries regarding the DVD release.
It’s going to be a while yet, but both the DVD and a new album are scheduled for release at the beginning of the 2012 tour on September 7th.
This much we can reveal to you now: they will be worth the wait.
In June we will be returning to England and Scotland for a few shows, and there are some festivals booked for the later summer. Pre-sales have begun for almost all shows on the fall tour, and you can find ticket links with the tour dates.
GOOD NEWS FROM CABLE CAR RECORDS! Tommy Schneller’s album “Smiling For a Reason” was awarded the German Recording Critics’ Prize. Also, Layla Zoe will be making a 10-concert club tour of Germany in May. More information can be found on the artists’ own websites:

The tour with Layla Zoe and Tommy Schneller was a lot of fun for all of us, and it was great to see so many familiar faces. Sincere thanks for your trust and support!
The Henrik Freischlader Band will be taking an extended break from live concerts. The next major tour will begin in the coming fall, 2012. You will find a number of dates already in the tour schedule, and in some cases tickets are already available.
